Correlation study between triathlon development and participation: What makes a sustained development and participation of triathlon in southern China?

Different factors condition sports development and participation. Existing research has shown that an individual's attitude toward involvement is mostly influenced by personal factors, although participation may also influence development. This study proposes to examine whether the Ideal-Type Model of Integrated High Performance Mass Sports Development (ITM) classic model planned behaviour (TPB) theory reinforces triathlon main motives for people participate in a triathlon. A based on traditional ITM TPB models was presented. Three hundred six valid questionnaires were gathered online southern China create sample. The data encoded, cleansed, analysed preliminarily using Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS). In addition, suggested assumptions verified validated partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) method Smart PLS 3.0 software.
